Our 27th annual Pasta Dinner is fast approaching. We cannot stress deeply enough how important it is for every able-bodied member to help us on April 13th. If you have children or grandchildren, next door neighbors, friends, students, we would love to have them involved and need all the help we can get. Please help us fill all of our open spots. We are in need of people from as early as 8am all through the day until the last pot is washed, last table is folded up and the truck is packed up and ready to go. It is especially important that we have a commitment from enough people to help with the cleanup at the end of the day. Included in our March newsletter will be a list of all areas still needing help and the "Pasta Head" for each area. If you have a particular area you would like to help with, contact either of our Pasta Dinner co-chairmen, Bill Sarno or Joe Luchini, or any Pasta Head, officer or board member. We will also be happy to put you where you are most needed if you show up Pasta day.
Baked goods needed!!!! Our bake sale table at the Pasta Dinner is very popular and contributes a great deal to our fundraising; that means more scholarships and more help for worthy causes. We rely on donations of homemade goodies of all kinds to make this a success. If you would like to get busy baking now, Judy Seifer, head of the bakesale, has deep freezer space to store contributions ahead of time. We will also be at the Civic Center on Saturday, the day before the dinner, for bake goods drop-off.
