Thank you to all who attended our April General Membership meeting this week!  We enjoyed a fantastic dinner by Frank Guagenti's crew at Milano Cafe, welcomed another new member, and had some very spirited discussion.  Crystal Diglia's name was drawn for the cash drawing but she was not present so her name went back into the bucket and the pot will be up to $300 for our next meeting!  

Take note:  May's General Membership meeting will be on May 19th due to Memorial Day falling on our normally scheduled meeting day. This will be our last General Membership meeting until Autumn, but don't worry, we have things planned throughout the summer! June 14th will be "La Dolce Notte" (A Sweet Night) of Italian wine, meat and cheese tasting at Mara's Gourmet. Our annual Scholarship Awards Banquet is scheduled for Wednesday, June 25th and our annual family picnic will be held at Camp Robin Rogers in August.  Our board meetings will continue the first Monday of each month throughout the summer, and as always, CIAO members are welcome to sit in on and join in discussions at board meetings, they only request that you let an officer or board member know you plan to attend beforehand so they can provide adequate seating. 

April General Membership Meeting!  Monday, April 28 at Milano Cafe.  Appetizers will begin at 5:45, dinner served about 6:15 and the meeting will start at 7.  This will be a feedback session for the pasta dinner. We want to hear from all of our membership, what did you think of the dinner this year? What did you think worked well and what do you think could be done more effectively?  We value every opinion and want to make next year's dinner even better. Please join us!

Another year, another pasta dinner in the books.

Thank you to all who put in so much time and effort to make our 27th annual CIAO Italian Dinner such a success!  It was a great day and none of it would be possible without the many volunteers and countless hours of preparation over the past year. 

Special thanks to our co-chairs Bill Sarno and Joe Luchini and to John Venturella without whom we could not have pulled it off.  Thank you to the many "Pasta Heads" who chaired each of our committees. 

 Big thank you to the many non-CIAO members who worked with us, friends and relatives, the crew from Casa Lu Al, students from Apollo and LCC,  2013 CIAO Scholarship recipients
and our entertainment for the day, Frank & Dean who were a favorite with the crowd.

Thank you especially to the Lima community who bought tickets and spent the day with us. We're already thinking about next year!
